Supports for Learners

Tipperary ETB provide a range of supports for learners to ensure that our programmes and services are accessible to all. To reinforce inclusion for all our learners many colleges, centres, and programmes provide customised learning support including individual/group support, supportive learning technologies and enhanced building design to accommodate people with disabilities. Learners need to contact the relevant FET centre for specific details.

Learner Information Pack

One of the actions noted in the TETB ESE Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is to development of a standardised TETB FET Learner Information Pack that can be modified for use by local FET Centres. This pack will contain all the necessary centre, support, programme and assessment related information that learners require during their programme. This pack will also be a useful resource for FET teachers/tutors and trainers. Work on this project is now underway as FET centres are contributing local documentation to the QA Office. It is intended that this resource will be in available by the end of 2018.
