School Musical

Congratulations to the talented cast of this year’s school musical ‘Hairspray’ that was performed on 26th & 27th October in The Dome. In front of record crowds our production team delivered the goods yet again with an outstanding performance that was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.  A special word of thanks and praise must go to Ms. Wallace, Ms. Martin and Ms. Geaney in bringing to fruition this year’s musical. Thanks also to the Art Department, The Woodwork/Construction Department and to all members of staff plus The Parent’s Council for their valued assistance in making this year’s musical a memorable one.

Volleyball

Well done to our u15 Boys’ volleyball squad on their participation in their recent tournament in Fethard. Having played excellently in earlier bouts, they ultimately succumbed to a well drilled Fethard College in the penultimate stages. Beidh laethanta eile!

Rugby Trip

Our 1st & 2nd year students enjoyed a trip to Thomond Park where they witnessed a superb match between Munster and Glasgow warriors. This was a treat primarily for all our rugby players who are attending training sessions weekly with Munster RFU coach Aidan McNulty after school, and for performing excellently in recent tournaments with Coláiste Mhuire. Many thanks also to staff members who organised this outing and attended the game with some forty students!
