The second year students along with Ms. Siobhan Landers, Mr. Paul O’Dwyer, Ms. Sinead Corrigan, Ms. Phiala Ryan, Mr. Gerry Treacy and Ms. Grainne Molony went on their school tour to Salou and Barcelona on the 4^th of May until the 7^th of May. The students got a taste of the culture and lifestyle that Barcelona has to offer and also the amazing weather which was an added bonus.

The students visited the city of Tarragona where they got to see a mosaic-packed museum and a seaside amphitheatre. They also spent a day in Port Aventura Theme Park which is one of Europe’s newest and largest theme parks. To round up the weekend, they visited the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona, the Monument a Colon, La Grada Familia which is a monumental church, Camp Nou and took a stroll down the Ramblas.

Both the students and teachers had a very enjoyable few days in Barcelona.
