Open Day at Templemore College of Further Education

February 9, 2016

Templemore College of Further Education will be open to all comers on Tuesday February 9th from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Colleges from throughout the county and beyond, education and training providers, and mature students interested in returning to education, are expected on the day.

This is an occasion for potential students to visit and talk to teachers and management, see the facilities, and get a feel for a College that has been providing a ‘college experience’ for thousands of students over the past decade.

Over the past number of years the College had enhanced the facilities with the development of the only iMac suite available to further education students in the county. We have also developed our Hairdressing Salon to a standard only seen in the highest quality salons in the country. This year we have completed our new ‘facelift’ to the College with a new front facade and a new reception area. All developments are indicative of a College that is on the move, innovative, and relevant to current and future trends and needs in further education.

To emphasise our commitment to relevance we continue to provide new programmes and awards on an annual basis. Last year we added Horsemanship, Make-up Artistry, and Languages and European Studies, while this year we are adding Cyber Security, and Office Informatics. Information regarding these courses and all our programmes is available on our website www.tcfe.ie or you can call to the College for our 2016 Prospectus.

Templemore College provides a unique further education environment for students completing Leaving Cert. and more mature students alike. Collaboration of young and mature, experienced and fresh, provides a learning culture in the College that is challenging yet supportive. Visit us and you may find that you belong in Templemore College. We look forward to seeing you on our Open Day or indeed at any time throughout the year.
