Storyteller

Students from 1^st, 2^nd, Transition Year and Leaving Cert Applied got the opportunity to hear stories from the renowned storyteller Niall de Búrca. They were enthralled by what they heard and all greatly enjoyed the experience.

Trócaire

Well done to our TY students who raised €500 for Trócaire. Lauren Lennon came from Trócaire to receive the €500 cheque. A special mention to Ms. Burke who organized the fundraiser for such a worthy cause.

Football

Well done to our u15 footballers who won the U15 Football County Final v Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed Thurles decisively on Monday under the guidance of Mr. Williams. After a slow start in the first half they went on to dominate the game and finished on a convincing score line. Congratulations to all.

Congratulations to our u14 footballers who won the u134 Rockwell Blitz. The boys won all group games against the High School, Abby, Tipperary Town and Borrisoleigh. The boys faced Borrisoleigh in final. A great day had by all topped off with a great display of football.

Ladies Football

Hard luck to our u14 ladies football team who were beaten by Templemore in the final of the Rockwell Football Blitz on Tuesday. Along the way the girls beat Nenagh, Coláiste Mhuire, and St. Ailbe’s to reach the semi-final against Rockwell. Great day out for the girls.

International Students visit Discovery Park Castlecomer

Ms. Mary Kennedy brought our 12 international students on a day trip to Discovery Park in Castlecomer, Co. Killennny on Thursday 17^th May. Here they experienced some of the many activities that was on offer. They finished the day with a picnic. A great day was enjoyed by all.
