Coffee Morning

A coffee morning was held in the staffroom of Nenagh College for Habitat Malawi Housing Project. This was to support Karen Robinson, a former student, who travels to Malawi as part of the Habitat Malawi Housing Project for orphaned and vulnerable children. Staff of Nenagh College presented Karen with the proceeds of the coffee morning which raised a total of €320 from staff and management. Nenagh College would like to wish Karen the very best of luck in her venture.

Charity Walk for Living Links

5th year LCA students presented Carmel Tooher from Living Links a cheque for €370. This was as a result of a charity walk organised by them for all first year students to the Millennium Cross. Ms. O’ Keeffe (5LCA Co-ordinator) and Ms. Naughton (English and Communications teacher) facilitated the students in a range of Enterprise activities, with the Loving, Care and Affection theme representing LCA. Both teachers are very proud of the incredible work that they have done for themselves and the community over the past year.
