HURLING:

Well done to our u15 squad who enjoyed victory over Ct. Clement’s Limerick at Lattin/Cullen GAA groundsin the Munster championship to get their campaign off to a flying start. Despite succumbing to an early goal and a point, we settled quickly to reply with a number of well executed scores from James O’Dwyer and Luke Galvin. As the game progressed both sides delivered an exciting contest that was most competitive between two evenly balanced teams. The second half saw Coláiste Mhuire play the more composed hurling. Some resolute defending by Odhran Donaghy, Eoin Craddock and Tom Reilly resulted in many clearances to our forwards that subsequently produced vital scores. The final score read 2-15 to 3-07 to see Coláiste Mhuire progress to the quarter finals stage. Among others to play superbly were Danny Slattery, Seán Britton, Gavin Ryan and Darragh Kelly. Team and scorers: Darragh Kelly, Ronan Carroll, John Shaw, Eoin Craddock, Odhran Donaghy, Tom Reilly, Gavin Ryan (0-05), Danny Slattery, Podge Collins, Luke Galvin (0-08), Killian Crosse, James O Dwyer (0-02), Shane Turner, Seán Britton (2-00). subs used: Seán McGrath, Phillip Treacy, Stephen Healy, Daniel Donnelly.

ETB TALENT COMPETITION:

An excellent night was enjoyed by all in attendance at the Dome last Friday as the very best of talent in song, dance and instrumental performances was showcased by students from the ETB schools throughout Tipperary. A special word of thanks also to our Music Department for the guidance and mentoring with the participants from Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed at this event.
