Salary

Current Incremental Salary Scale: €46,432 – €72,544.

Starting Salary: Applicants should note that the starting salary will be at the minimum of the appropriate pay-scale and will not be subject to negotiation. An incremental salary scale applies thereafter.

Previous public sector experience in the same grade may be eligible for incremental credit. This will be determined upon appointment.

Ref: 24/25-92 ADULT EDUCATION GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR

Permanent post – 35 hours per week. 

Location: This post will initially be based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

The Adult Education Guidance Counsellor plays a crucial role in providing guidance, counselling, and support to adult students within Tipperary Education and Training Board. The Counsellor will support individuals in identifying their educational and career goals, developing action plans and overcoming barriers to learning and employment. The Counsellor assists students in making informed decisions about their education, career paths, and personal development. This role is crucial in fostering lifelong learning and personal development within the community.
