Fifth Year Trip to Manchester

On Friday March 1^st 2019, a group of 27 students from 5th year and three teachers, Ms. Gubbins, Mr. White and Mr. Corcoran travelled to Manchester, England for a school trip. On the first evening they went on a tour of Old Trafford Football stadium where the experienced first- hand this iconic stadium. They stayed in a lovely hotel in Wigan. On the following day they toured around Manchester and got an opportunity to do some shopping before the highlight of the weekend was the match between Manchester United v Southampton. They viewed the game from the very top of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand, and the atmosphere was just electric. Where Man United coming out as winners with a 3-2 victory. They returned home on Sunday evening tired but elated. A great trip was had by all.

Launch of the DEIS Plan 2018-2021

On Friday 15^th February our new DEIS Plan was launched by Tipperary ETB Director of Schools Ms. Linda Tynan. Also attending the event was the school’s DEIS Team, members of the Board of Management, Parent’s Association and Student Council. The plan is part of our school’s overall School Self Evaluation Process for the coming 3 years.
