2nd Year Basketball

Congratulations to our second year basketball team who beat FCJ Buncoldy, Wexford in their 1/4 final on Tuesday, the 8th of March. The girls won on a score line of 38-27.

The girls started very well in the first quarter and led by 8-0. The girls continued to pull away in the second quarter but got ahead of themselves and thought they had the match won. Sloppy play, missed shots and complacency led to Bunclody fighting back. The girls had to fight hard in the end to close out the match.

The girls will now face Loreto, Kilkenny in their semi final  on Tuesday 14th March.
