Second Year School Tour to Barcelona

The second year students along with Ms. Phiala Ryan, Ms. Breeda O’Neill, Ms. Sinead Burke, Ms. Marie Sheehan, Mr. Frank Kearney and Mr. Gerry Treacy went on their school tour to Salou and Barcelona on the 2nd to 5th May. The students got a taste of the culture and lifestyle that Barcelona has to offer and also the amazing weather which was an added bonus.

The students visited the city of Tarragona where they got to see a mosaic-packed museum and a seaside amphitheatre. They also spent a day in Port Aventura Theme Park which is one of Europe’s newest and largest theme parks. To round up the weekend, they visited the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona, the Monument a Colon, La Grada Familia which is a monumental church, Camp Nou and took a stroll down the Ramblas. Both the students and teachers had a very enjoyable few days in Barcelona.

Transition Year Trip to Delphi

Transition year students with their teachers Ms. Siobhan Tobin and Mr. Sean O’Regan visited Delphi Adventure Centre in Connemara, Co. Galway from Monday 29th April to Thursday 2nd May. They participated in all the activities that Delphi has to offer including canoeing, High Rope Course, Bog Obstacle Course and Kayaking to mention a few. The weather was lovely and a great time was had by all.

Annual Music Recital

Our Annual Music Recital will take place on Thursday 9th May at 7.30pm. This evening of entertainment is a highlight of our school year as it is a great showcase for our students’ talents in all areas of music. There will be a display of Irish Traditional Dancing also so a great night is assured. This event is free and all are welcome.
