Gaelic Football:

Our u15 football squad travelled to Rhebane GAA Grounds to take on a formidable Kilmihill Community College from West Clare. Kilmihill opened exchanges with a couple of well taken scores and while they had a very cohesive unit in defense, our forwards eventually pieced together some good interplay that culminated in a well taken Eoin Craddock goal. The game was fast flowing and open with both sides intent on progressing to the final. Five points separated the teams at half time and on the resumption of the second half a few positional switches favoured CMCO to ultimately see Coláiste Mhuire progress to the Munster Final on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-06. Superb on the day were Killian Crosse, Odhrán Donaghy, Seán McGrath (0-01), Brandon Mills (1-01), Eoin Craddock (1-09), Stephen Maher (1-01) and Jim Ryan.

Hurling:

The u19 hurling team played Mount Sion in their Munster quarter final in Waterford last week in what transpired to be a most competitive and even contest. Coláiste Mhuire led at half time by two points but despite playing some excellent hurling with outstanding displays from Éamon Ryan, Conor Ryan, Luke Galvin and Danny Slattery, we succumbed to a stronger side ultimately that capitalised on their opportunities with greater success. Beidh laethanta eile!
