FUTUREWIZE

Nenagh College first year science students are taking part in a 5 week science programme called ‘FUTUREWIZE’. The programme aims to inspire students to discover rewarding career possibilities through STEM subjects like science, technology, engineering and maths. Well done to all our scientists who have been participating in this programme so far. The event was organised by Ms. Kearney and Ms. Hannigan.

U16 Irish Girls Soccer Team

Congratualtions to Hazel Cawley (3rd year student) who has just returned from Belgium where she represented Ireland in the U16 Irish Girls Soccer team. They played two games against the Belgium side and drew both. Hazel played exceptionally well and greatly enjoyed her experience. With all the hard work and hours of training, hopefully there will be many more opportunities for Hazel to play at this level and continue to proudly represent her country again.

Well done to the 1st and 2nd year camogie team who narrowly lost to Borrisokane in the semi-final of a recent blitz in Roscrea. The girls worked brilliantly and are a credit to the school. They were accompanied by their teachers Ms. Hannigan and Mr. Forde.
