Road Safety Awareness Talk:

Monday 4th March, 2019

As part of the Adult Learning Festival BTEI hosted a Road Safety Awareness Talk in the Army Barracks, Clonmel on Monday 4th March. This talk was given by Catherine Flaherty who is a member of the Road Safety Authority. The event was supported by learners from all programmes within the Army Barracks. The topics presented by Catherine included pedestrian and  cycle safety, killer behaviour, drink & drug driving, tyre safety and driver distraction. It was a very interesting, eye opening and educational talk.

Coffee Morning Carrick on Suir Further Education and Training Centre

Thursday 7th March, 2019

As part of the Adult Learning Festival BTEI hosted a Coffee Morning in Carrick on Suir Further Education and Training Centre. This coffee morning was a platform to showcase learners work and to bring all learners from the various programmes together to chat and to get to know each other. It was a very enjoyable morning for all those who attended.

Templemore College of Further Education(Education and  Careers Day)

Wednesday 6th March, 2019

Templemore College of Further Education hosted an Education and Careers Fair during the week of the Adult Learning Festival. The Back to Education Initiative programme is an integral part of Templemore College and held an exhibit of what BTEI has to offer on this day. The event was a great success with people from all over Tipperary attending.
