The Makeup Artistry & Hairdressing Department recently showcased their skills by recreating the hair styles and makeup looks from the 1916 era. The photoshoot was carried out in conjunction with former student Aisling Hassett who is currently exhibiting a mixed media interpretation of the social context from 1916 in Ireland and The Great War. The Makeup Artistry and Hairdressing department were asked to take part in the Exhibition and they recreated some fantastic looks of the era. Their teacher Nicola Welford Co-Ordinated this project and worked closely with Aisling on recreating the costumes to compliment the looks.
The Photoshoot was filmed by ‘Irish TV’ on the day and aired on the ‘Tipperary Matters’ show on Saturday 23rd April @ 8.30pm. If you would like to learn more about this exciting event in Templemore College you can view the show on http://www.irishtv.ie/tipperary-matters-85
