Feedback to Learners

Learner Feedback

To maximise the learner’s chances of success in a further education and training (FET) programme, centre staff ensure that learners:

    • receive timely, informative and constructive feedback on their assessment throughout a programme of study that will inform their participation on the programme
    • are provided with an opportunity to repeat an assessment, when appropriate
    • are informed about the centre’s complaints and appeals procedures
    • are informed about the ETB’s Learner Appeals process in relation to assessment results or the assessment process.

As a single policy and procedure for all of FET has not yet been revised, learners and FET staff should revert to the relevant legacy procedures  for more guidance.
