Ultimately, the CMCO team delivered the goods with a winning score of 61 out of 64 questions.

FÉILE NA SAMHNA:

Comhghairdeas d’fhoireann sóisearach an Choláiste a tháinig sa chéad áit i dtráth na gceist i bhFéile na Samhna san Aonach. Well done to both junior teams on coming 1st place & 3rd place in the annual Féile na Samhna in Nenagh last week. Maith sibh.

TY LIT YOUTH WORKSHOP:

Transition Year students made the short journey to LIT Thurles where they attended a youth sports workshop hosted by former Kilkenny All-Star hurler Michael Fennelly where they took part in a series of tests to measure speed, accuracy, strength and other forms of fitness as well as testing their fundamental movement skills. They also received talks on nutrition, sports psychology and insights from former LIT students on potential courses to undertake at LIT Thurles. Feedback was most positive as students thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

ART COMPETITION:

Well done to 1st year student Stephen Healy on his superb win in the Thurles Credit Union Art Competition held recently for local second level schools where Stephen was awarded 1st place. Well done also to his mentor and Art Teacher Ms. Dorney.
